In a 20 day trip we covered the Northwest and Northeast Andes and finished off with a great stay in the Amazon. Due to the expert guide services of Daniel Cruz, Jorge Luna and David at NAPO Wildlife Center we saw 355 species of birds, 284 which were "life birds" and 20 mammals including 10 species of Monkeys. At first it seemed like little effort was needed to spot special species but we quickly learned that it was due to the expert local knowledge of our guides that we were able to accomplish so much, including having great interaction with the wonderful people of Ecuador.
