“Diego and Ecuador Birds Tour did an awesome job planning my 4 night birding and photography trip to Ecuador. I would highly recommend them for both photographers and those just looking to see a lot of birds. Diego helped me when one of my luggage was delayed over 24 hours requiring him to pick it up at the airport at almost midnight the night before I was scheduled to head to the Western cloud forests. I saw all the birds on my list and was able to get great photos with the help of my guide Roberto. It was a great start to my trip to Ecuador” Sabrina.

“My wife and I spent two weeks on a private birding tour and had a wonderful time. Everything was well-planned and on-time. The lodges we stayed at were always comfortable — and often with beautiful views. The food (and service) at the lodges was surprisingly good. We saw over 400 species of birds — everywhere from the roadside to the many “reserves” we visited. Our guide was tireless and very knowlegeable. ” I highly recommend a trip with Ecuador Bird Tours. If you are interested in birds and nature at all, it’s a wonderful way to see and experience the wonderful country of Ecuador. We booked this because we were already planning a Galapagos trip and this seemed like something different to try. It was the perfect compliment to the islands! In four days we saw so much – from enjoying the lodge in Quito, down to the cloud forest, then up to the mountains. “We had an amazing time with Ecuador Birds Tours. It was a two week trip that spanned several habitats, including the Andes, the East Slope, the West Slope, and the Galapagos. All our guides were incredibly knowledgable, patient, and passionate, the staff at the lodges were wonderfully kind and considerate, and the food (most of which was included) was both delicious and plentiful. We saw close to 300 bird species on our trip, swam with penguins in the Galapagos, and even saw the shy Spectacled Bear. All in all, we came away with a newfound appreciation for the incredibly diverse ecosystems that make up Ecuador, and would highly recommend their services”. Nick Dujnic.
