"I had 4 days left in Ecuador, so after some frantic online searching I discovered Diego at Ecuador Birds Tours. He was prompt in his reply and the next day Diego and I set off for the cloud forest of Mindo. Diego was good company and I was entranced as I got to walk and view birds in so many distinct habitats. There was time for me to hone my photographic skills in capturing hummingbirds and I got to see a very rare toucan. Unbelievably we were almost photobombed by Andean Condors. The lodges we stayed in were extremely comfortable. In fact Diegos family run lodge is luxurious . The food was also great and we got to stop for the wonderful Ecuadorian home-made ice creams. I cant praise this trip highly enough, and whenever I am back in Ecuador A trip with Ecuador Birds Tours will be on my list". Krystin, Australia (National Geographic Photographer).
