Umbrella Bird Reserve

The Long-wattled Umbrella Bird Lek is located in the 23 of June Community near San Miguel de los Bancos. The reserve has pristine forests and spectacular views of the Lower Cloud Forest. Early in the morning the Umbrella Bird can be observed in the Lek, usually around 4 of 5 of them. Other possible species like Toucans, Tanagers and Woodcreepers also arise. 

"Diego provided a wonderful tour to the hot springs and birding area. It was a very rainy day and part of the road was closed due to a washed out bridge. He was flexible and adjusted schedule then managed to get us through the official road block to the birding site.
