Highlights of our Toucan Top Birding Tour near Mindo:
Early pick up around 4am from your hotel in Quito. Our journey from the Andes to the Cloud Forest will be around 2 hours. We will aim to arrive to the reserve at sunrise, to observe from our birding hides possible woodcreepers, flycatchers, wrens, antpittas and brushfinches. Continue to other hides for possibe Plate-billed Mountain Toucan and Hummingbirds. We will have lunch along the way with a superb view of the cloud forest. In our last stop at Alambi Hummingbird Paradise we will observe at least 12 species of hummingbirds in less than 10 minutes. Possible to observe Quetzal as well and occasionally female Andean Cock of the Rocks nesting. Return to Quito and Drop off at your hotel..
